Arvandor Weather Packs Nomads Rogues Loners Vaiva :: Eriol :: Balrog Click for weather stuff Vaiva's weather and temperature patterns seem to stay the same much of the year, it is a little colder at the moment with a little more snow falling. The temperature lies between -4°F in the more exposed areas to 23°F in the more sheltered areas. The prey is scarese but there for those who need to find it. During this season it's mainly dry but colder. It's usually either clear or partially cloudy, if it does rain it will spot in the morning.The temperature through the day and night stay between 50°F and 68°F. Many of the heards have moved here seeking the dry and milder weather. During this season the area recieves all the rain it will for the whole year and only over the savannah. It will rain one day of 10 and only for around half an hour the rest of the time it's cloudy and impossibly humid. The temperature here ranges from 77°F to 113°F At this time many creatures such as lizards and snakes breed so you are far more likely to find a meal. The Vansumé Pack Click to see stuff! The northern Rúcinas are topped with thick ice and snow all year round. Only the most hardy of creature can live here such as the Mountain lion and Big horned Sheep. 0 0 Isilme Foothills At the foothills of the northern Rúcinas you will find an area littered with conifers. These evergreens provide shelter from the harsh winds and food for the little deer. Hardy grasses can be found below the snow, light fliters through the snow just enough that they can grow. 0 0 Dínen Lake Dínen or Silent Lake. Large lake in the East of the terra, frozen throught the year. The ice can be broken but at one to five inches thick only with brute force. A large aray fish do live in the lake and provide food fo those who can fish but there are a a few nasty preditors in the lake too. So even though the lands are of a moderate temperature the peaks still get snow at times. The slopes are smooth and green. Pups enjoy visiting this place so they can see all the way out to the coast and to learn to hunt mice and rabbits. 0 0 Ettele Forest (1 sub-board) Etelle forest, even though it is one of the warmest forests known in Arvandor it's still not that warm, In it's cold season it will still see quite low temperatures. However these temperatures are oftern stable and don't change much between day and night. The ground is covered in thick mosses and short grasses and in areas flowers. The trees are old, standing among them are the oldest trees on the planet. 0 0 Lake Nenya A lake in the north western corner of the territory itis a popular swimming and fishing spot, the waters are mostly shallow stretching over a wide area. The lake is abundant in fish and surrounding wildlife all year around. The lakes source is the Centeral and Southern Rúcinas. 0 0 Balrog -- The Deadlands Delu Savannah A large expance of dried out grasses and rocks between the vanta grassands and the Gaer Dunes. The hot wind from the East dries the land out, making it harder for plants and animals alike. Some like this tough living as it shows they themselves are tough. 0 0 Caia Lakes Caia lakes are not quite what they seem, one would think the lake in the desert would be a blessing but the lake is a salt lake and so it would not be wise to drink from it. Many adapted fish and birds live in and around the lake. 0 0 Gaer Dunes In the eastern coastline the hot winds are strongest, here no plant life can grow. All you can see is sand, sand as far as the eye can see. The dunes move constantly and so can serve no navigational purposes.
